Merry Christmas!

So for a gift from my grandmother-in-law, and partial to me, I bought an Eldar Lynx. It came on the 23rd and I could hardly wait to crack it open. The thing is HUGE compared to my other tanks. I got to say, I am extremely excited to start painting it, but first, some shots of the thing!












I mean, LOOK at it!

It's finally cleaned up and ready to be washed and primed. But I am going to paint up my Warmachine Stormclad and Huron Blackheart before I get going on this, otherwise I'll never get them done.

Also, my lovely wife knows how much I take shots of my models for this blog and just in general, so for a gift she got me this!


I have to say, it will be extremely useful and from some test shots I have taken, it is far better than my previous pictures.

    Good lord... it's enormous. That's going to take a while. Also, very jealous of the light box thingy - I have terrible trouble messing around with a bunch of desk lamps to get half-decent pics, maybe I should invest in one of these.

    I got to say, I am very impressed by it. Though, just for getting a nicer picture, I had to put another lamp pointing from the top, but if you have some overhead lights it would do the same thing.
