Wet Palette Creation

So I have found something new and exciting. Something that a lot of you all out there have known about. I created a wet palette, and I am still trying to wrap my head around why I did not create one sooner!

Mine was more makeshift than that one up there, it was the same concept though. The paint says wet and you can blend and water down at a whim. I have to say, being I can blend much easier now without much concern for new pots or anything, I can get a lot more out of my colors and wet blend accordingly! I'm very excited to see more uses. Here is a link (I know there are many) for making a cheap wet palette.

If you have any tips or comments, please leave them below!

  1. Having a wet pallete sure is awesome on saving paints! :D How is the depth on your container? I'm still searching for a good shaped container for a wet palette. For now I find that a cigar tin works very well for a nice sized and low container (though not entirely sealed) for a wet palette!

    1. I just grabbed a deli meat container than had been washed. It is fairly deep, but worked pretty well for the uses!
